Christian Education

St. George’s offers a variety of Christian Education opportunities for church and community members of all ages (preschool to adult):

Sunday School
St. George's offers Sunday School classes for children in Preschool through 12th Grade - The Buzz (Pre-school to Grade 5), Rite 13 (Grades 6-7), Confirmation (Grades 8) and High School (Grades 9-12).  Our Sunday School classes include preparation for important sacraments including First Communion, Rite 13 and Confirmation.  Classes begin after Communion at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service.  All classes meet in the Randles Wing.

Adult Discipleship

St. George's offers a wide variety of Christian Education and Bible Studies for Adults, including Education for Ministry, Disciples Bible Study and Renovare courses.  We offer classes in varying lengths of times from 3 weeks to 34 weeks, in the morning or evening, during the school year or a specific season like Fall or Lent, and on various topics from getting to know the Bible, exploring ancient sites where Jesus walked or learning about the Women of Bible times.

Vacation Bible School

Each year, St. George's partners with Prince of Peace in Clifton Park, offer Vacation Bible School.  One week each summer, children travel back in time to experience what life was like in Bible Times while enjoying songs, drama, games, crafts and bible stories.

Youth Fellowship

Youth members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of ministries: serving as Acolytes, singing in the Choir or participating in a Youth Mission Trip.  In addition, Middle School and High School youth are invited to join our Youth Group.
