Regifting Made Simple

Contact: Jo Anne Robbins

Have  you ever received an item as a gift that was the wrong size or simply not something you could use? Have you wondered what to do, harboring some unnecessary guilt over returning the gift or giving it to someone else. No problem!  St. George’s Mission and Outreach and Hospitality are teaming up to provide the perfect plan for those unwanted gifts (candy and cookies, too).

Let it/them go, and get yourself back in the giving spirit. On Sunday, January 16th, following Christian Formation classes (at noon), bring your unwanted unwrapped gifts (including sugary treats) and we’ll regift them to someone through the Capital City Rescue Mission or St. Francis Mission.

If you don’t have something to regift, consider donating a gently used jacket, sweater, warm hat, game or book.  You’ll be helping someone in need experience the joy of receiving a gift.  Clothing, books, toys, household items – all items will be put to good use.

Don’t have a gift to share?  You are also invited to bring a donation for the Jonesville Helping Hands Food Pantry.

We’ll have hot mulled cider, hot chocolate, cookies, fresh fruit and some delicious snacks.
