Spring 2020 St. George Mission and Outreach ran a project focusing on the children in the Shenendehowa School District who live in food insecure homes and who participate in the Shenendehowa Bountiful Backpack program. With the schools are closed due to COVID-19, these children were not receiving that needed weekend nutrition. St. George’s provided these needy children a grocery bag of nutritious food each Sunday afternoon during the spring.
